- spinning must be unassisted (ie without aid of external objects, force, rope, turn tables, spinning sticks, persons or swinging weights)

- can wear regular shoes or barefoot

- must not use the aid of assisted footwear (eg. roller skates, roller blades, ice skates, specialized dance shoes eg ballet)

- can be on carpet, cement, lino/tiles or grass (ice not permitted)

- can jump while spinning

- can spin with one foot stationary

- must maintain once single direction after starting

- time and full rotation starts from torso facing camera and finishes on torso/chest facing camera

- must spin on feet (not on head, backside etc)
