State/Province: 0 The record setter is a diving instructor who suffered a Subarachnoid Haemorrhage following the rupture, and grade 4 bleed, of an undiagnosed aneurysm on the 22nd December 2013.

He regained consciousness in hospital and had the ruptured aneurysm 'coiled'.

After an initial 8 month recovery period he was certified Fit to Dive by a specialist diving physician.

He made the record attempt 10 months after returning to diving.
