Suresh G. balanced a table tennis ball on a bendy straw for one minute, 33.01 seconds.

Shripad V. placed 68 dried peas from a bowl to a box in one minute using a straw.

Shripad V. moved 100 dried peas from a bowl to a box in one minute, 48.60 seconds using a straw.

Doug McManaman finished drinking a 16-oz bottle of water through straws in seven minutes, 58.65 seconds while balancing the bottle on his forehead.

Antony R. picked up and held 35 straws in 30 seconds.

Adam Y. balanced a plastic bendy straw on his nose for one minute, 58.80 seconds.

Dinesh Shivnath Upadhyaya placed 1,001 straws in his mouth at once.

Doug McManaman picked up 53 pennies using a pop straw in one minute.

Steve S. drank a 2-ounce bottle of Tabasco sauce through a coffee stirrer in 4.28 seconds.

Daniel O. put 50 beans in a bowl using a straw in one minute.

Mel Sampson drank Coca-Cola from a straw that was 75.82 meters in length. Sampson set the record as part of The Drive Home with Mel World Record Week 4.

Kenny McKee drank a 12-ounce (355 ml) can of Diet Pepsi through a straw in 21.10 seconds.

Ben Kerr drank a half pint (236.59ml) of Diet Coke through a straw in 5.84 seconds. NOTE: Speed drinking can be dangerous. Please use caution when making an attempt.

During World Domination event, 30 members of REVOLVE @Linkway drank out of a pineapple at the same time. They used straws that were three, five and eight feet in length. tag:RecordSetterBook01

Dyuthi Khanna drank hot chocolate through 12 straws connected together to form one extra-long straw. She accomplished this feat at Stevenson High School’s Operation Snowball in March 2011.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
