Sports World Records  

A total of 2,180 groups, consisting of 15,180 attendees from 11 countries, performed a simultaneous group workout. The attempt was organized by ViSalus to promote health and fitness and raise awareness about their Project 10 Kids Campaign.

Alicia Weber set four unique abdominal exercise records within one hour: Most Consecutive Knee Tucks, Most Situp Flutter-Crossovers In 15 Minutes, Most Flutter Presses In 5 Minutes with 40% Of One's Body weight, and Most Straight Leg Curl Ups In 3 Minutes With 10-Pound Medicine Ball.

Carlos Burle surfed a 100-feet tall wave, setting a surfing world record. He set the record off the coast of central Portugal.

The Relay For Life of Bergen Beach, Mill Basin & Marine Park hosted 419 participants at their Zumba For Life event to set a record for Largest Zumba Class In New York City. They set the record at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn to raise cancer awareness and money for the benefit of the American Cancer Society.
