Mel Sampson did 17 consecutive live radio breaks in rhyme. She set the record as part of The Drive Home with Mel World Record Week 4 during a live broadcast at 89.3 K-Rock radio.
Andrew Bancroft created rhymes using 29 foods in a three minute
freestyle rap. He took suggestions from the audience and integrated them
into the song.
Bancroft set the feat at The Purple Onion in San Francisco during a
RecordSetter LIVE! event. RecordSetter co-founders Dan Rollman and Corey
Henderson officiated the attempt.
Paul (Pabs) Melia rhymed 41 words with the word “blue” in 30 seconds.
Actor Thomas Anawalt completed eight improvised rhymes in two and a half
minutes while impersonating Marlon Brando and playing bongo
Anawalt set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event
held at Littlefield in Brooklyn, New York. Dan Rollman and Corey
Henderson were present as witnesses.
Derek Simmons, who releases albums under the alias of Force One
Networkz, has recorded and released 17 indie hip hop albums so
far in 2009. He has three more scheduled for release before the end of
Seth Herzog improvised rhymes about four strangers’ names in 30
seconds while wearing a Wonder Woman costume.
Herzog set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event
held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson
were present as witnesses.
