Brian Nevel of Huntingdon County Customs built an offset reverse
flow smoker measuring 33-inches in length, a new world record.
The smoker was built on May 19, 2009 in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Clint
Caldwell was present as a witness.
Sasha Wizansky tasted 16 parts of a pig in one sitting. The meat
came from Marlow and Daughters, and was prepared by David
Wizansky set the record on August 12, 2009 at a World Record
Appreciation Society event in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey
Henderson were present as witnesses.
The pig parts Wizansky tasted: tenderloin, flank, shoulder, spare rib,
jowl, shank, loin, tongue, belly, cheek, heart, trotter, head cheese,
skin, ear, and tail.
Amber Franklin stuck 20 toothpicks in a Lil Smokies sausage in 30
seconds. Each toothpick was placed one at a time.
