Longest World Records  

Tai Star wove an eloquent web of 26 words with insatiable drive to create the longest mnemonic device. The mnemonic is to remember the alphabet backwards.

Bob Officer and John Milhiser touched their noses together for 10 hours, 34 minutes and 55 seconds without interruption. They set the record on March 18, 2010 in New York City during the taping of a RecordSetter segment on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Rob Birdsong served as witness. Suresh Gaur balanced a computer keyboard on his nose for three minutes, 14.11 seconds. He performed the entire feat on his knees.

Aaron L. ran a distance of 66 kilometers (41.01 miles) while wearing a gas mask. He set the record during the 40th Marine Corps Marathon. The event was held to raise awareness for the 22 veterans a day who commit suicide. Aaron served in the Marine Corps for 15 years and was a suicide and crisis negotiator during his time. Brian Pankey balanced a skateboard on his chin for four minutes, 46.94 seconds while sitting on the ground.

Doug McManaman balanced a 13-inch TV on his hand for five minutes, 44.34 seconds.

Doug McManaman balanced a 13-inch TV on his non-dominant hand for six minutes, 49.60 seconds.

Camm123 and his friend stood on one leg for 10 minutes, 11.25 seconds while singing and wearing three hats. They held hands throughout the attempt.

Nigar spun a mini hula hoop around her neck for 36.31 seconds.

Doug McManaman balanced one gallon of water on his forehead for two minutes, 47.14 seconds while reading the RecordSetter Book of World Records.

Using a TV FlyBack (Accelerating Anode) from a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube TV), Darryl Learie electrocuted himself with 28.95 KV to light up a 15-watt fluorescent light for 21.7 seconds. WARNING: This record is extremely dangerous and should only be attempted by trained professionals with medical assistance nearby.

Mason A. balanced a spinning basketball on the tip of a pen held in his mouth for 40.42 seconds.
