Height World Records  

Decorated in lights, ornaments, and a tree topper, 6’8" Mike Ellison set a world record as the tallest human Christmas tree.

The Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho features a 162-foot tall Christmas tree decorated with an animated light show. The tree, a grand fir, is decorated with over 30,000 lights and two miles of extension cords.

Luke Lindsey, Tom Kresge, Chuck Mooney, Matthew Smyth, Anthony Gabriel and Jeff Monchein, who average 6’2" in height, sang the Oompa Loompa theme song from Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory.

Doug Williams and Judah Teista completed tandem back flips by jumping off a platform twelve feet high. They beat their previous record by four feet. Both are trained athletes and had supervision on hand.

BBQ legend Clint Cantwell built a s’more from scratch that was 10.2" in height. Cantwell used graham crackers, Hershey’s chocolate and a combination of marshmallows and marshmallow fluff to assemble it, and a small blowtorch to heat the ingredients. He dictated it had to stand alone without any support or assistance in order for the record to count. Cynthia Kueppers and Dave Bredesen built a carrot cake 18" in height, a new world record. When complete, the cake had 21 layers. The duo built the oversized dessert on May 20, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event in New York City. When they were finished creating it, hungry audience members ate the entire thing. Todd Lamb drew a person of someone with dwarfism measuring 10 feet, 8.25 inches in height. The illustration included boots with heels, but measurement was taken from the soles of the person's feet to the top of his head. Lamb completed the achievement on March 25, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] gathering in New York City. He drew using a Sharpie marker.
