Escaping World Records  

15-year-old Nicholas Brice performed a straitjacket escape while dangling 40 feet above the ground. He was inspired to set the record by the late great magician Harry Houdini. Read more about the feat here.

Brad Byers performed a straitjacket escape in one minute, 28.20 seconds while hula hooping.

Matt Cairoli escaped from a regulation-sized straitjacket in 12.92 seconds.

Alexanderia the Great escaped from a straitjacket, 10 padlocks, and 50 feet of chain in two minutes and 37.65 seconds, a new world record. The record was set live on-air during an episode ofFox and Friends[]. URDB co-founders Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present to witness the feat.

Carl Michael escaped from a straitjacket in 12.02 seconds while hanging upside down 40 feet in the air.

Alex L. escaped from his handcuffs made out of tape in 1.10 seconds.
