Alex Alexander made 291 sounds on his djembe drum in four minutes. He accomplished the feat using a variety of pedals, custom sounds, presets, and muting techniques. The record was set at a St. Patrick’s-themed World Record Appreciation Society[] event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. Brian Pankey completed 21 consecutive thumb-arounds while bouncing a table tennis ball on a paddle with his other hand and standing on a rola bola.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
