Jovany pitched the film at age 11 in 2020 as an origin story for The Goofing Show, a homemade cartoon series begun in 2019, then storyboarded it, voiced the Goofings and drew the animation in the app Brush Ninja, releasing it on YouTube on July 30, 2026, while still under 18. RecordSetter timed the film from its opening warning card to its closing The End title, credits included, and confirmed that the credits name Jovany as the sole animator; the Goofing Show shorts that play after The End in the same upload are not counted. Studio features take teams of hundreds, and this one took a single young animator and six years of patience.
