48 attendees of iD Tech Camp at Villanova University created a ‘Warp Speed’ clap chain that was completed in 0.43 seconds. Each person clapped immediately after the person in line next to them, creating, in essence, a wave of claps. Based on their submission claim, the average length of each individual’s clap was .0089583 seconds. Until we can find a way to measure this and/or future submissions in this category, we consider this submission “pending.” [#iDTech][]

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
