Chris Carraba of Dashboard Confessional performed a concert on top
of Pikes Peak Mountain in Colorado at 14,111 feet above sea level.
The concert was performed to raise funds for The Love Hope Strength
10,000 fans at a college football game between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners held up Livestrong placards showing their support in the battle against cancer.
The record was set at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas on October 2, 2010.

awareness ribbon cake measuring eight feet long.
A group of 120 people composed of patients, survivors, caregivers,
advocates, navigators, healthcare professionals and attorneys gathered
together to learn about cancer rights. The rights discussed include
Employment amp; Taking Time Off Work, Health, Disability and Life
Insurance Options, Access to Health Care, Insurance Navigation and
Appeals, Understanding Health Care Reform, Cancer Community Resources,
Genetics amp; the Law, Legislative Advocacy, Education Rights of
Children and Young Adults with Cancer, and Financial Planning.
78 cancer survivors and their caregivers hula hooped at the same time
during a Defeat Cancer meeting in Bend, Oregon.
70 people set a record for largest group of masked dental hygienists to
support Break Cancer as an early celebration of Oral, Head and Neck
Cancer Awareness Month and National Young Adult Cancer Awareness
The project was a combined effort between the [Dental Hygiene Alumni
Association of Columbus State Community College] and Joan’s Fund
(The Joan Bisesi Fund for Head and Neck Oncology Research).

253 young adult cancer survivors from the Lurie Cancer Center
gathered together and made a toast while saying “Together we will break
60 riders in the Texas 4000stood in a circle and made individual
dedications before lining up and forming a can-can line. They set
the record before heading out on a bicycle ride.
Twenty-six LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance members said “Break
cancer for young adults” at once.
46 “Mommas” shaved their heads in solidarity with kids battling
cancer. The group's goal is to raise $1 million dollars for pediatric oncology, and donate it the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
