70 people set a record for largest group of masked dental hygienists to support Break Cancer as an early celebration of Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month[] and National Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week[]. 17 members of the Larsen Family /Team Shan gathered to say “Breast Cancer Awarenesss for Young Women”.

A total of 121 people from California State University - Fullerton Campus, John Wayne Cancer Foundation and The National Melanoma Awareness Project applied sunscreen in the rain. They set the record as part of the Spot-A-Spot event, a campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of skin cancer.

A member of Support The Melons slapped a melon 256 times in 30 seconds. They set the record to promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign.

Seven people joined together and danced while wearing "F Cancer"[]shirts. The man in the plaid shirt was not counted.

Ty Conner and his friends Noah McDougall, Andrew Vial, Chrisie VonHatten, and Adam Denton participated in a cancer awareness race in the hallway of the Earth and Sciences Building at the University of Tennessee. They raced on foot, by bicycle and in a rolling chair.

Members of the Nurse Oncology Education Program Steering Committee stomped on the word “Cancer.” In total, 240 toes stepped on the word.

Led by Bijal Mehta of Texas 4000, 400 people registered for the "Be The Match[]" National Bone Marrow Registry. The organization’s purpose is to help raise awareness about the importance of donating bone marrow as a way to save people who are suffering from leukemia and other life-threatening diseases.

Over 700 cancer survivors did "The Twist" in Grant Park at the 18th Annual Cancer Survivors’ Walk amp; Celebration.

A total of 48 cancer survivors and supporters from Camp Mak-A-Dream Young Adult Conference ate Fruit Loops simultaneously.

A group of young adult cancer survivors formed a circle to play drums for two minutes and 27.88 seconds during Camp Mak-A-Dream’s 2011 Teen Camp at Gold Creek Montana.

38 members of Texas 4000 set a record for most cyclists arm wrestling to support Break Cancer.

Texas 4000, a group of University of Texas students preparing to cycle 4,000 miles to raise money to battle cancer, rode a trainer bike 31.50 miles in one hour, a new world record.
