On a camping trip at Khao Yai in Thailand, eight friends ages 6 to 11 (Sebastian, Hugh, Fraser, Cole, Willa, Lorelei, Morgan and Ella) found a bamboo pole with a branching tip and made it into a 30-foot marshmallow roasting stick. The video shows them measuring it with a tape in two sections, 16 feet to a marked point and 14 feet more to the end of the twigs, for 360 inches in all. After dark they hoisted it over the campfire, balancing it on a toy horse, and say they roasted more than 40 marshmallows in one go. They planned the whole thing themselves.
