Balloon World Records  

18 members of Wieden Kennedy’s Team Dark inhaled helium and sang the chorus to I Think We’re Alone Now while hogtied. The record was set in Portland, Oregon on April 1, 2010 at Wieden Kennedy’s 28th annual Founders’ Day party. John Nelson and Russell DeCaprio tossed a water balloon over a 2010 Ford Fusion 73 times in one minute. Nelson and DeCaprio set the record as part of Fusion 41, a World Record Challenge created by the Ford Motor Company.

Greg Arrigoni used 1434 Qualtex balloons to build a balloon arch. The balloons were three feet in diameter. The arch measured 600 feet wide and 340 feet tall. It took 65 tanks of helium to fill the balloons. The arch was built at the Grand Excursion festival to commemorate the the 150-year anniversary of the founding of St. Paul, Minnesota. tag:RecordSetterBook01
