About

Guwahati, Assam, India / October 19, 2026

Debarkhi Borah of Guwahati, India, who writes as St. Piter Arnstain, published eight paperback volumes of original fiction on Amazon between August 11 and October 18, 2026, at age 18: six novels, two of them split into two volumes each. A screen recording walks through each manuscript in Reedsy Studio with its word count on screen, then shows the paperbacks live in the author's Kindle Direct Publishing account and on their public Amazon listings. RecordSetter matched all eight listings, ISBNs and page counts (5,595 pages in all) to the author's tally of 1,199,086 words of story text, with front and back matter left out. The author wrote every book and used ChatGPT for spelling, grammar and occasional editing suggestions.

Rules

- Count the words of original fiction the author has published in print: narrative prose and dialogue, including story prologues and epilogues.
- Only words published while the author is a teenager (13 to 19) count, judged by each volume's publication date.
- Each volume must be commercially available in print, with its own ISBN and a public retailer listing. The same text in another edition or format counts once.
- Front and back matter does not count: copyright pages, contents, acknowledgments, author notes, author biographies and advertising.
- Word counts must come from the published manuscripts using one consistent counting method, shown on screen or provided as files on request.
- The text must be drafted by the author. AI tools may be used for editing (spelling, grammar, style) and that use must be disclosed; text generated by AI does not count.
- Evidence is a screen recording showing each listing, its publication date and its word count.
