Elisia Morries performed 20 fouettes in 10 seconds at a dance studio in Birmingham, England. A fouette is the whipped turn where a dancer spins on one leg while the other whips out to the side and snaps back in, so twenty of them in ten seconds means coming all the way around roughly every half second without ever stepping down. Frame-by-frame analysis of her video puts her at one complete revolution every 15.2 frames, or 1.97 turns per second, and that cadence holds from the first turn to the last with no break in the footage. She takes the record from Liam Canavan, who set 17 in 2017, and she is still turning when the video runs out.
