2 years late, but yes. Emulators are not allowed for official speed runs because loading zones are nearly instant and the game just runs faster as the computer can handle what is happening on the screen much better than a console can. This leads to arbitrary gains in time against the console versions when no work has been done to complete it. All Speed runs must be done on their official released console or virtual console (wii)

I would like to challenge this. Using frame manipulation, from the first frame the whistle blows to the first frame that you touch the platform, I've come to the conclusion that you achieved a time of ~11.327 seconds, while (Musical Yoshi) has achieved a time of ~9.66 seconds at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMyrBRXHGrQ. All times were recorded with 60 fps GIF's that I converted the videos to. But still, well done! Much faster than me! :-)
