I don't believe so. In Dinesh's previous record, he used both O and Ø, which both seem to be the letter 'O'. Also, in Dinesh's tweet he used 'Å'. Why not use 'A' instead? Because 'Å' is on the list, not 'A'.
I think it's kind of demeaning to those using different alphabets to claim their letters aren't equal with ours.

Actually, look again at 11 of the first 12. For example, He contains both H (hydrogen) and He (helium).
