Antonio Casanova escaped from a straitjacket while hanging upside down, 40 feet in the air, in two minutes, 33.99 seconds.

The ropes Casanova dangled from were lit on fire for dramatic effect.

- must be 40 feet in the air
- timing starts when record setter is raised to full height
- timing stops when straitjacket is fully removed
