Why is the bacon explosion? LOL!

    I hate bacon's. Because bacon's are gross. So I don't like bacon's.

The original record should have been the world's smallest bacon explosion. I'll make a new one shortly and break my own record.

Hey Guys. Although this is a dead end record, we discussed at HQ and Josh's record should still stand. Congrats Josh! Any other bacon related records up your sleeve?

  • United States Josh Bolinger

The original record used bacon that was sliced. I tried to replicate the same technique that the first record used, even though it wasn't specified in the description. I think it would be possible to break this record, simply by using only a fraction of a slice. The only difficulty there would be judging what is half a slice, a third of a slice, etc. Weighing the slice beforehand and then again after cutting it to verify the proportions would probably work.

Eventually, as with all measurable records, there will be a point that it will no longer be able to be broken. Either by reaching what is physically possible or by what is physically measurable. Coming to one of these points should not negate what has been done, simply because no one is able or willing to break it.

Anyway, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to set a world record involving bacon.

Ma-Ann admittedly, this is what happens when you have "Fewest" records. It seems that the only feasible direction to take this record is "Shortest Slice Of Bacon Used To Make A Bacon Explosion", unless you reject Josh's record for slicing the bacon vertically (and essentially making 12 mini slices).

Nice! How does it feel to have broken your own record?

  • Philippines MaAnn P.

This category clearly has reached its border. Now, it's unbreakable. Vote to deny.

Clint You should! We have a live event coming up in NYC on November 10th if you're free...

  • United States Clint Cantwell

I'm sure I could put together the world's largest bacon explosion as well.

  • United States Alex Cunningham

Tell you what, Dan, if I ever make it up to HQ, I'll make one and share it among the team. Deal?

  • Canada Dan Rollman

Someone should make the world's BIGGEST bacon explosion.

  • Canada Dan Rollman

    Fixed measurement.

  • United States Clint Cantwell

You're correct Eratosthenes. It should read 1 1/4 inches wide/thick.

  • United States Alexander Paul Kleinschmidt

Looks delicious. However I doubt that the measurement of 1/8" thickness is anywhere near accurate. :-P
