Group world records are where teams of friends, coworkers, family members or even strangers get together to achieve more than they could accomplish alone. Groups have collaborated to dance, play music, pull off ambitious sporting endeavors and tell cancer to take a hike, among a flurry of other feats.

During The University of Texas’ 40 Acres Fest,501 people symbolically “ended cancer.” Each participant was given a card that said “cancer” and asked to finish the sentence, symbolically “ending cancer.” The feat was led by the Texas 4000 bicycle team.

Florentino Fernandez, a host at Otra Movida, got in a golf cart and drove a chain of 25 office chairs down the hallway, around the corner and onto the studio stage.

Most People To Hold A Single Furby In One Day
YouTube stars The Fu led a group of 86 people holding a single Furby in one day. The record was officiated by RecordSetter President Dan Rollman. The Fu accomplished the feat as part of the Furby Records project.

A total of 552 people blew up balloons and then popped them by sitting on them. They set the record during Thirst Youth Convention in Erie, Pennsylvania.
