Jacob Betts and theHLUMCRelay For Life team baked a pink cancer awareness ribbon cake measuring eight feet long.

Led by Bijal Mehta of Texas 4000, 400 people registered for the "Be The Match[]" National Bone Marrow Registry. The organization’s purpose is to help raise awareness about the importance of donating bone marrow as a way to save people who are suffering from leukemia and other life-threatening diseases.

Jennifer Velazquez and 29 of her coworkers participated in a kickball game to spiritually “kick” cancer.

A group of young adult cancer survivors formed a circle to play drums for two minutes and 27.88 seconds during Camp Mak-A-Dream’s 2011 Teen Camp at Gold Creek Montana.

Members of the Young Adult Oncology Group pulled a plane 15 feet in 5.19 seconds. They performed this feat to raise money for cancer research.

Mel Sampson and 514 other people participated in the CIBC Run for the Cure[]. They exercised to raise breast cancer awareness.

In Celebration of Australia’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 95 sets of balloons were put together to represent as “pink boobs.” The feat was set by the Chicks In Pink charity in coordination with Racecourse Road[].

The Association of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Nurses (APHON) invited 300 people across the United States including their members, colleagues, patients and their families to wear "Break Cancer" tattoos. They set the record in recognition of the Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Month.

A group of 120 people composed of patients, survivors, caregivers, advocates, navigators, healthcare professionals and attorneys gathered together to learn about cancer rights. The rights discussed include Employment amp; Taking Time Off Work, Health, Disability and Life Insurance Options, Access to Health Care, Insurance Navigation and Appeals, Understanding Health Care Reform, Cancer Community Resources, Genetics amp; the Law, Legislative Advocacy, Education Rights of Children and Young Adults with Cancer, and Financial Planning.
