3 Men on a Bike – cycling from the lowest point in Britain, Holme Fenn in the parish of Holme (south of Peterborough), the lowest point of the British Isles at 2.75 metres (9.0 ft) below sea level to Ben Nevis the highest mountain and point in the British Isles. Standing at 1,344 metres (4,409 ft) above sea level, it is located at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands, close to the town of Fort William. 5 Days - 500 Miles – then climb Ben Nevis with the Bike The bike is a ‘Triplet Bike’ – basically it’s the same as a Tandem but for 3 people Notes – GPS Data can be supplied. The bike was stripped to enable it to be carried up the mountain but all parts for it to be ridden were carried up the mountain. The record was set for Great Britain (not just England) as Ben Nevis is in Scotland.
