Maximizing diaphram capacity and rapid vocal movement, Elna Baker stunned an audience by letting loose 112 throat singing notes in 30 seconds, a new universal record. The record was set on November 24, 2008 at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City. Event organizers Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present to witness and document this feat. Owen Biddle of The Rootsplayed a bass guitar that was wired through two wah-wah pedals. He attempted to plug in six, but a faulty cable led to an unsuccessful attempt. Biddle set the recordat a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. He was accompanied by Blast Off!!!. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses.
