Hopscotch World Records

Matt Rishel completed 35 hopscotch hops in 30 seconds while piggybacking an adult. Stride’s setting 100 records in 100 days. At the end of 100 days, we’ll verify if you are the standing Record Holder. If you are, you’ll get $500 for each record you managed to hold with your guile, talent, and sheer will. General caution and common sense required. We show the Stride Team at work, but recommend that these challenges be done at home.

Wedge, a Detroit-based design firm, created a hopscotch course measuring 3.75 miles in length. They set the record in collaboration with Imagine Detroit Together, in partnership with the Detroit Design Festival, and with help from over 100 Detroiters from ages four to seventy-four. The course was displayed around midtown and downtown Detroit for those looking to get hoppy. Read more about the feat here.

Ryan performed 182 hopscotch repetitions in 20 minutes. He set the record as part of the 20 Or 20 challenge to help fight obesity and promote the importance of being fit and healthy. Learn more about 20 Or 20 here.
