Hanging World Records  

This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. Suresh Gaur hung a 3.3-kilogram weight on the back of his head while balancing a baseball bat on his chin.

Dena A. played clarinet for one minute, 49.74 seconds while hanging upside down from a tree branch.

Jordan D. hung from an Australian regulation football goal post using his arms for three minutes.

Joel W. hung from a wooden plank for 39.35 seconds while holding a window screen between his legs.

Suresh G. hung 10 CDs on a strand tied on a tennis ball held on his navel.
