Costume World Records  

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. Chris B. led six mascots to sit on wheelchairs at once. They set the record during an event to honor people with disability.

11 members of the WCNC news team in Charlotte, North Carolina wore Halloween costumes live on the air the morning of October 30, 2009. Costumes included a bus driver, Elvis Presley, Hello Helen, Mack Mullet, Flash Lightning, Count Sprinkula, Larry Lemon, Sonny, Cher, and Marilyn Monroe.

Erica H. led 22 members of Austin Stone Community Church to dance to the "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" song while wearing costumes.

Lindsey Hajduk coordinated with the Alaska Wilderness League, Center for Biological Diversity, Endangered Species Coalition and Sierra Club in gathering the largest group of people dressed as polar bears while dancing in 24 hours. A total of 391 people across the United States participated. They set the record to raise awareness against offshore drilling, for protecting the Arctic region and in celebration of RecordSetter World Record Day. John and two of his friends wore inflatable T-Rex costumes while trying out yellow vehicles.

Emily Casden threw 144 pieces of chalk at Ella Morton while Morton was dressed in a taco suit, singing Space Oddity. The band Blast Off!!! accompanied Morton for her performance. The record was at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. #WRAS15, #RecordSetterBook01

Doug McManaman fired five shots at a target while dressed as a lobster. He set the record on New Year's Day.

Sean Sonic of radio station Channel 933 completed seven slides on a Slip ’n Slide while wearing a hotdog costume in one minute, a new world record.

Geoffrey Countryman made 13 Star Wars costume changes to the tune of Eytan & The Embassy's Everything Changes.
