This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. In homage to his love of food, Colin Nissan sets a new universal record by opening a can of Campbell’s Alphabet Soup and spelling out ‘PANTYHOSE’ in one minute, 25.77 seconds. Nissan set the record on January 7, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City. He opened a standard size (10.5 ounces) pop top lid can, strained the letters, and then spelled out ‘PANTYHOSE’ using letters from the soup.
