BeatboxerAdam Matta delivered 17 different vocal instruments in a 4-beat measure, a new world record. The tempo of the performance was approximately 86 BPM. Matta performed the feat at a World Record Appreciation Society event in New York City on February 11, 2009. It took place at Pianos, a Lower East Side bar. Dan Rollman was present to time and count the instruments. Lawson Clarke drank a 24-ounce can of beer in 43.84 seconds with someone drumming on his crotch the entire time. Clarke set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. Carlos Santos performed a double stroke drum roll that lasted 19 hours, 28 minutes, and 25.00 seconds. He set the record to support positive parenthood and raise awareness of the rights of parents and children. The event was supported by The Castelo Branco Forum, Rock Academy School, and Beat Parental Alienation, an international musical initiative against parental alienation.

Four student campers from iD Tech Camps New York University slapped their knees 1,689 times in one minute. [#iDTech][]

Alex Alexander made 291 sounds on his djembe drum in four minutes. He accomplished the feat using a variety of pedals, custom sounds, presets, and muting techniques. Evan Altshuler delivered 10 delayed rimshot jokes in 90 seconds. After each joke, drummer Mike Pride waited at least two seconds before hitting a rimshot. Altshuler set the record at a World Record Appreciation Society event held at Littlefield in Brooklyn, New York. Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson were present as witnesses. [#WRAS20][]

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011.
