LIVESTRONG World Records

A group of 120 people composed of patients, survivors, caregivers, advocates, navigators, healthcare professionals and attorneys gathered together to learn about cancer rights. The rights discussed include Employment amp; Taking Time Off Work, Health, Disability and Life Insurance Options, Access to Health Care, Insurance Navigation and Appeals, Understanding Health Care Reform, Cancer Community Resources, Genetics amp; the Law, Legislative Advocacy, Education Rights of Children and Young Adults with Cancer, and Financial Planning.

70 people set a record for largest group of masked dental hygienists to support Break Cancer as an early celebration of Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month[] and National Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week[]. 301 people came together on the Southern Utah University Thunderbirds[] football field to honor cancer survivors and Break Cancer. They were participating inThe Iron County American Cancer Society Relay for Life[].

Led by Bijal Mehta of Texas 4000, 400 people registered for the "Be The Match[]" National Bone Marrow Registry. The organization’s purpose is to help raise awareness about the importance of donating bone marrow as a way to save people who are suffering from leukemia and other life-threatening diseases.
