Ross Martin completed 102 over-the-thumb pen spins while riding an escalator.

Rules

- must use an ordinary pen or marker pen
- pen must freely rotate over the thumb and return to its original position on each spin
- escalator must be in normal operation mode
- must stand on the same step of the escalator during the entire ride; may not step backwards onto a previous step to prolong ride
- counting begins when both feet of the rider are on a single step and ends when one or both feet leave that step
- rider may travel up or down but only a single ride may be used
- may only use one hand
