Clapping World Records  

Guillaume B. completed 77 one-armed clapping push-ups in five minutes while wearing a boxing glove.

Alicia Weber completed 12 one-legged burpees with opposite one-armed push-ups with an end jump and clap in one minute.

Ronald Taylor performed 151 one-handed alternating claps in 10 seconds.

Tyler Decker performed a total of 62 one-armed clapping push-ups on each side.

Guillaume Bourgeois performed 18 consecutive one-armed triple clapping push-ups.

Michael James and his friends clapped together 176 times.

Guillaume Bourgeois performed 20 consecutive one-armed double clapping push-ups.

This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself. The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st, 2011. 48 attendees of iD Tech Camp at Villanova University created a ‘Warp Speed’ clap chain that was completed in 0.43 seconds. Each person clapped immediately after the person in line next to them, creating, in essence, a wave of claps. Based on their submission claim, the average length of each individual’s clap was .0089583 seconds. Until we can find a way to measure this and/or future submissions in this category, we consider this submission “pending.” [#iDTech][]
