Rules

- one guitarist plays alone for the entire attempt; no other musician performs at any time
- no backing tracks, loops, metronome or other musical assistance
- breaks are earned at 5 minutes per hour played and may be saved up; every break is logged
- time runs from the first note to the last note, including breaks taken; a closing break is not added
- at least two independent witnesses must be on duty at all times and sign shift logs and witness statements
- must provide continuous, unedited video of the entire attempt with a running clock in view
