Rules

- The pencils start loose on the floor or a table, with no glue, tape, rubber bands or other ties
- Use one handheld litter picker (a grabber with two jaws worked from the handle); only its handle may be held
- The pencils are picked up in a single grab: the jaws may push them together before closing, and no pencil may be added after the lift
- Once the pencils leave the surface, nothing but the jaws may touch them, with no hand, other body part or support
- Standard full-length wooden pencils, sharpened or unsharpened
- Only pencils still held in the jaws count; any left behind or dropped do not
- The pencils must be held in the air for at least one second without any falling
- Must be one continuous, unedited video showing the pencils on the surface before the grab
- Must follow form of current world record holder
- Must provide video evidence
