Before you turn on your camera, take some time to think about the world record you are about to set. Will you do it alone, or involve your friends? Do you have all the props you'll need? Have you read the rules?
You don't need special equipment or a Hollywood director to document a great record. Focus on telling a great story. Aim to make your video entertaining and concise — rambling intros will scare away viewers. IMPORTANT: If you shoot with your phone, be sure to hold it horizontally.

- each sandwich must consist of two strips of fried bacon, one tomato slice, one lettuce slice and a spread of mayonnaise between two slices of bread
- bacon strips may be fried in advance, but must be warmed up during attempt
- tomato slices may be prepared in advance of attempt
- must spread mayonnaise across majority of inner side of one bread slice
- remaining ingredients (bacon, tomato, lettuce) may be placed in any order
- no help from others permitted
- sandwiches must remain standing up and fully completed at end of attempt in order to be counted
- may place a toothpick or similar through each sandwich to help keep them together
- partially completed sandwiches are not counted
- must provide video evidence
