- must keep legs straight and may not not bend knees
- must use a standard Olympic bar
- must perform press from a dead stop position
- bottom of the press bar must be lower than the lifter's actual standing height
- must press weight to a complete lockout
- no outside assistance or support permitted
- must provide video evidence
