This record was set as part of Toyota Prius Records, a two-day event streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself.

- belt must be buckled firmly around every participant's waist
- participants must remain seated for duration of attempt
- if belt is too big, must tighten to smallest belt hole
- belt must start in first participants hand
- timing stops when belt is buckled on last participant

    ooooooohh.... a waist belt... I thought it would have been the Prius seat belt - because if you tried doing that to fast it would automatically lock up so you'd have to take it slow enough to not lock the belt but fast enough to beat the previous record... but that all means nothing now because it's a different record :)
