Jumps where they tripped or stumbled over the rope were not counted. The couple set the record on March 25, 2009 at a World Record Appreciation Society[] event held at Pianos in New York City. Shawtgun White completed nine consecutive pop shuvits while wearing a beanie and one hat.

Gary Rollman completes 29 air strides in 30 seconds, a new world record. He performed the feat on a Deniz Sport Salinim Aleti stride machine. Rollman set his record on March 19, 2009 at Konyaalti Beach in Antalya, Turkey. Barbara Rollman was present to document the record and count the strides.

Barbara Rollman completed 25 hip swings in 30 seconds, a new world record. She achieved the feat on a Deniz Sport Pedalli Esnemi Aleti hip swinger. Rollman set her record on March 19, 2009 at Konyaalti Beach in Antalya, Turkey. Her husband Gary was present to document the feat.

Eliot Glazer bench pressed his dog Atticus 53 times in 60 seconds. The record was set at a St. Patrick’s-themed World Record Appreciation Society[] event held at Joe’s Pub in New York City. Jerry Paffendorf climbed the stairs of Michigan Central Station from ground level to rooftop in an unprecedented 9 minutes, 59 seconds. He set the record on April 29, 2009 in Detroit, Michigan.

Rotem K. performed a handstand that lasted two minutes, 18.03 seconds. He is 16 years old.

Dina Mishev climbed 34,546 feet in 24 hours, a new world record. Using climbing skins, she repeatedly trekked up a 1502-foot trail, checking in with officials at the top off the trail, before skiing down and checking in with officials at the bottom. She did this 23 times in 24 hours. The record was set on February 8, 2009 during the 24 Hour Sunlight Challenge at the Sunlight Mountain Resort in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. tag:RecordSetterBook01
