Hold Your Breath — This World Record Freedive Is Legend

If you’re one of those people with a fear of the ocean, look away now.

William Trubridge definitely has no qualms about tackling the lightless abyss. Not only has he set the bar for the deepest freedive world record, he’s done it twice — currently holding the bar by descending 124 meters in four minutes, 34 seconds.

And he does this without any breathing apparatus. That’s right — this guy has gone to distances deeper than the Statue of Liberty is tall without any equipment.
