Art Hoffman rode 437 miles with a full-sized skeleton on the back seat of his tandem bicycle. The skeleton (named Oscar) was affixed to the back seat with Hoffman when he participated in the RAGBRAI bike ride in 1987. Oscar wore a "U.S Tobacco Industry" sign that was part of anti-smoking campaign Hoffman started.

Well, I guess I need to weigh in on this "mind blowing record smashing". Candidly, I never thought that anyone would ever be able to do this or even want to do this as it does involve some serious coordination and time and stamina not to mention assembling all the paraphernalia - unlikely most folks have an extra skeleton lying around. So my hat is REALLY off to Kadhim and many of you know that I was pulling for him the whole time - offering tips and encouragement and even donations - one of the great things to me about this is how two persons can collaborate in the spirit of competition - sometimes I think that "trash talking" and occasional ruthlessness (can you spell hockey, football, etc boys and girls?) takes away the enjoyment of sports and contests. Let's hear it for cooperation - it was so cool to help Kadhim fulfill this goal. And now I have a new friend! Plus, one consolation - I do have the RecordSetter record of Longest Duration for Holding a Record - 25 years. Whoop-de-do.

Congratulations, Kadhim. It truly astounds me that you stepped up and beat Art's record. Awesome, awesome job. Glad you were able to integrate a charitable element, too. High five!

    Amazing!

Kadhim, can you do a follow up video where you talk to the camera about the journey? I'd love to hear more in video form.
