My thumb can easily pass 90 degrees but the criteria is ridiculously imprecise and can be easily manipulated by camera tricks.

Criteria on this record needs to be specified in much more detail... I attempted this record and could beat the record with a camera angle trick - this record depends much on the camera angle of the photo, and more importantly where the angle is measured from. My lower thumb has a bit of skin that can be manipulated to change the angle if measured from the bottom... where is the angle measured from and to? The nail might be an indication but some have round some have flat nails... Either way it's nice to know I'm not the only one with a "weird" thumb, I always freaked people out at school with this one :)

I agree, that is NOT 70º at all. My record was better than that. I think I'm going to have to re-try this one. Pretty sure I can beat these guys.

  • That's not 70 degrees... That bend is measured from the bottom of his thumb! JUDGES!!!! RECOUNT!!!

Very questionable. That doesn't look like a bend beyond 90 degrees. Video evidence might help.

  • I think I can beat that. WITH WITNESSES!!

  • Congrats!

I will bend my thumb for anyone, any time, any where. Haha!

  • Oh my. I thought I was the only one. I'm buying a protractor!

Though PhotoShop certainly has magical powers, this record seems pretty real to me. I vote to approve it.

  • No witnesses?! I happen to know Danny has PhotoShop skills! :) Maybe I'm just jealous...

  • Ewww...
