Easy record, Julio. Do you, or did you, go to the college there? It's been years, but I attended the college there when it was known as West Texas State Uniiversity. I understand the name has changed, now.

Earl: Yes, you can get 12 letters in one word. But, it is not then possible to make 13 unnaccepted words. Try, you'll see.

Yes, Alex is right. I've done not just some experimentation but some really hard thinking: is eight the TOTAL max and COULD it possibly be beaten? Nope.

  • The Internet Earl Jones

I've personally gotten 12 letter's on one word.

Because you get 7 letters in your rack, thus you have the word that you spelled and each letter can complete one word perpendicular to the word, for a total of 8. (Hope that was a good explanation. If not, I can make a video)

Alex, I haven't been able to get past 8 either, but how can you be sure 8 is the max?

    • United States Stuart Klimek

Eight is the maximum as a play must occur in a single row or column and the maximum number of tiles that can be played in a single turn is seven. The eight possiblly unacceptable words then is the word attempt in the line and the seven crosswords. (The game prohibits gaps in a linear play and plays made in more than one row or column).
