  I think accepting records where people use animals as participants is reckless and may even be breaking some laws in some States. The reason is, many animals run the risk of being maimed or killed in such attempts. The fact the woman doesn't care that the animal has no flotation device is disturbing to me. In fact, she thinks it's humorous. I've seen enough.

  Oh, and the dog IS unhappy. His ears are registering fear and apprehension.

    Cat, thanks for this feedback. Your comments are heard, loud and clear. Any thoughts on how we could create rules to discourage submissions like this? I don't think denying all animal records is the answer -- stuff like Most Dog Handshakes in 30 Seconds, for example, feels A-OK and doesn't do harm to animals.

  Wow! Super cute and fun. Any chance we can change the record title / criteria to dog instead of Maltipoo? That way more folks can attempt to beat it. Let us know!
