Dan Miller and his friends Jim, Kevin, and Jay took two Cessna planes and a Ford Escape, travelling to all 67 counties in the six states of New England in 26 hours, 38 minutes, and 44 seconds. Their route started in Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts and ended in 8 Road in Wytopitlock, Maine in Washington County.

The video was taken with a webcam mounted to the top of their vehicle, taking a still frame every six seconds for the duration of the trip.

- Nantucket and Dukes Counties in Massachusetts must either be visited by land or by sea; flying over them is not counted
- must provide video evidence

    You guys rock!!!

Alex - we have previously also done Ohio (23.5 hours) and Alabama (22 hours). As far as our inspiration, these kinds of roadtrips are just something that we enjoy doing. The long-term goal is to eventually visit all 3,142 counties in the US. As for Pennsylvania, it's something we've thought about....

My Pennsylvania could use some bluing up... I'm in. I think we'd be looking at 36 hours or more though.

By the way, what inspired this record?

Thanks for the well-wishes. The photos were actually taken every 6 seconds. We've actually done this before - this is our 3rd trip - we have other records for fastest time to visit every county in Ohio and Alabama

Wow. So cool! Who's idea was it to take photos every 60 seconds?

This is so awesome. What made you decide to do this?
