This record was set as part of Prius Records, a two-day event
streamed live on the Internet. In a 48-hour period, URDB officials
adjudicated 200 Prius-related world records. This was the most records
ever documented in a 48-hour window, a world record in and of itself.
The event took place in Los Angeles, California on March 30th and 31st,
2011. See all the records set at the event here.

I like this one too Peter. I think you must show an empty cup holder and then show the entire attempt until the ball is made.

I like this one... but with similar records when beating it, it's too easy to fake a pocket as if it were done on the first take, by taking 100 or infinite tries until it gets it "first shot" and sets the record to 1-2 seconds. I wonder how this might be avoided? The only way I can think of improving it would be do pocket TWO balls - the time starts at the beginning of the first pocket. This still means you can try a million times to get two pockets in a row but would be much harder. But hen if you give it a go and DO get it first time you'd be pretty bummed!
