I'd say that it is but it isn't. It isn't adding to the difficulty of the record per se, but it at least fits in to the theme of the record, which is another thing in and of itself. For instance, this record but instead of an NFL jersey, I would wear a snuggie or an unrelated shirt and require that to be worn. So it is a double edged sword since the NFL jersey does have some part to do with the record since it adds to the "feel", I guess. But yeah, for the most part, a lot of these extra criteria that don't make the record any more difficult should really be cut down.

Heyo Alex. Corey and I have been talking, and I think you'd agree with this. We're trying to discourage records that have added elements that don't actually change the difficulty level of the record attempt. We think this will increase the quality of our records. I feel like this would fall under that category. Let me know your thoughts!
