We think only a record holder can know what you go through to set a record, so we only let people that
have already set world records downvote other people's records.
What can I do?
Go set a record! If you can think of it, you can set a new world record for it.
He seems like someone who is really happy with his life, a very joyous person. It's so nice to hear, as most people working at a drive through are irritating.
Wow, you got him to tell you his middle name? That's impressive. I feel bad for these people, but at the same time I kind of want to make an attempt myself now. I can be really obnoxious when I want to be.
mel, cory, emily, dan, and simon. First of all, this was THE best breaking of the record to date. GREAT job Mel!! :) I absolutely agree that the rule was intended to keep multiple people from asking questions. The rule should be adjusted to "only one passenger's questions count". I also agree with Rob! Flirtatious females do seem to have an advantage with this record :D
Alex, we made sure to have some of our station t-shirts in the car to leave behind for the people behind us :) So, if you do anger people, just give them gifts!
It was HUGELY fun to do! I personally think the record should stand, but I too would love to see more comments from the creator/ moderators. I moved to the back after we arrived at the restaurant because it was deemed by my co-workers/witness that I could get better audio for the radio broadcast and video. Cheers!
I think the attempt should stand and the criteria should be tweaked to say that "only one passenger's questions count". It is clear that the spirit of that rule was to avoid having 5 people in the car all throwing out questions.
On behalf of Fester, congratulations on breaking this record. I will make sure he is told that his record was broken, and I'm sure he will be dissapointed. You have set a new standard that will deffinitely be hard to top. Keeping someone on the line at the drive thru for 7 minutes is quite impressive.
This is awesome I love it! It made me laugh!! :)
I love the way he asked the questions, it sounded so natural, like he really was just curious about everything! I love when he asked about the big mac mc muffin or whatever it was. It was so funny!

Honestly if this was me I wouldn't mind the long chat. It would mean I didn't have to work on more peoples food.

Mortimer, Thank-you! I'm so happy you created this record. I hope to be defending it someday... it was a lot of fun!

Note to future record setters: Please don't get the people behind you mad ;)
Emily Miethner
"- questions may only be asked by one person" is what was really trying to be accomplished. So it should be fine.
Simon Kirk
What are you implying Rob?
Rob Birdsong
Nice to see a woman give this record a go. I think it helps her out considering there is a man on the other end of the speaker.

I do not concur. A rule is a rule. It's a great, funny attempt, but it doesn't follow the rules stated. When is it decided to bend them and when not?
Dan Rollman
I concur with Corey and Emily, but would love to hear category creator Mortimer Blackwell chip in with his two cents. Regardless, very funny video.

I think as long as it's only one person asking the questions, it should be fine, and that's what that rule was for. Maybe we can adjust the criteria?
Jennifer Wark
Simon, it looks like the driver speaking to me...I'm confused?
Simon Kirk
Actually, while this a fantastic attempt, it should be denied. Rules state that only the driver's questions count. She is in the back.
Emily Miethner
Oh my gosh, Mel. This is my favorite record and I love you setting it!

Dan Rollman
Jon, fair response. Your laughter made me laugh, that's for sure.
Jon DelaCruz
Dan, i think i shouldve laughed a little more. #burned
Dan Rollman
Very impressive, Jacob. You need to tell your passengers to laugh less!

God Bless Mortimer Blackwell for opening this record category.
Jennifer Wark
Very "Dude, Where's My Car?"
Layla Thakkar
I feel bad for the drive thru person/worker......but this did make me laugh.
Simon Kirk
Does it count if the same question is asked twice, for example if the person doesn't hear?
Heather Cash

Dude this was dumb!!
Haha I work at that restaurant!! I was there that day!!
Nice, but it's much cooler if you make it up as you go. :D I'll break it again.
Dina Rollman
She made a great straight man (unknowingly) - this was really funny.
Gotta say, She was a professional polite worker, so I kinda get bugged by this a bit, having been a service worker in the past. Still, kinda clever.
