We think only a record holder can know what you go through to set a record, so we only let people that
have already set world records downvote other people's records.
What can I do?
Go set a record! If you can think of it, you can set a new world record for it.
Sure. Finish Time: 1hr 57min
(started in last wave, official clock
time minus 9 minutes)
Swim: 1/4 Mile (21min 39sec)
BIke: 16.2 Miles (1hr 42sec)
Run: 4 Miles (31min 29 Sec)
what happens if a ball is dropped at any point? do you simply go back, pick it up, and resume from where it was dropped? Or is the attempt disqualified?
Yes, I followed joggling rules which is what you said. Pick it up and resume juggling before advancing forward. Only dropped a few, all during swim, so it was easy to recover those since they only fell about 4inches to the water from my hands. You are going so slow on the swim and the balls float thus drops are not an issue. If I had dropped on the biking that would have been more costly in terms of time, energy, groove, and frustration.
Thank you! It's really a thrill for me because I had no idea bout the record of the year voting, so it took me by surprise to check out the list and see mine at #1.
hey, thanks! Just got this comment now and I see that I won :) I didn't even get a chance to tell anyone to vote for me :) Too bad there's no iPad prize...?
Corey: Thanks... No, this is the first time someone has attempted this kind of record.
Emily, this was my first triathlon :) I've joggled marathons before, but no triathlon experience before setting this record.

Joe - I'd love to use this video as a part of a math problem to inspire my students. Do you know your split times for the race?
